呐,我学生物的,就只解释生物学上的头啦~
头是指身体有极性的动物(就是说除了海星那种辐射对称的啦、草履虫那种单细胞的啦什么的),其神经聚集、感官聚集、运动趋向的身体端。比如蛔虫和蚯蚓就有了头尾之分,与头相对的一端是尾,绝大多数动物以头口摄入食物,后口(肛门)排出废物(所以水螅那种有口无肛的东西也不算有头),随着进化,生物日趋复杂,头部开始与身体有明显的界限,比如昆虫、鱼类以及更高等的动物,表现为神经系统的发生并在头部高度集中,感官、运动定位等的高度发达,这对于生物适应环境有着极为重要的意义。
