英语单词表示阻止，“forbid”和“prevent”有什么区别吗？

1.意思差距很大。

forbid是指通过下命令、制定规则等禁止某事，或禁止某人做某事。

prevent是指可以不择手段，阻止某事发生，禁止某事发生。

2.搭配完全不同。

（1）forbid

forbid表示“禁止”，结构为：forbid sb.+to do sth.，be forbidden to do sth.。
