三个人用people还是persons：根据不同情景使用

Person强调的是个体，可以泛指man, woman或child中的任何一个，它的复数形式是Persons，但人们习惯用People代替persons。但是Persons这一复数形式更正式，法律文书和官方文件使用的多是Persons。

People强调的是群体，所以当说一个人的时候，不用people，当表示两个以上的人的时候，就需要用 People了。

其实，Three people和Three persons这两种表达都可以使用，但我们要根据不同的情境使用。强调个人时，三个人就是Three persons；强调整体的时候，我们要说Three people。

其实“People person” 的意思是指：人缘好的人；善于交际的人。

“Little people”有三种意思，我们先一起看一下英英解释：

第一种All the people in a country who have no power （统称）平民，百姓，小老百姓?

第二种：Extremely small people, who will never grow to a normal size because of a physical problem 异常矮小的人；侏儒；“袖珍”人?

第三种：The little people small imaginary people with magic powers 小精灵；小仙子
