else、other和anyone的区别

else

1. else 是个副词，与不定代词或副词（以-one,-body,-thing,-where结尾的词）连用，表示“另外”、“其它”的意思，用于这些词后面。eg:

Would you like something else to drink? 你还要喝点别的什么吗？

We went to the park and nowhere else. 我们到公园去了，其它什么地方也没去。

2. else 还可用在

或副词（如：who ,what ,where等）后面表示强调。eg :

Who else will go to the meeting ?

要去参加会议？

What else would you do ? 你还有什么别的事要做吗？

3. else 还常用于固定结构or else ,意为“否则”、“要不然”。eg:

Run ,or else we’ll be late . 快跑，不然我们就迟到了。

Do what I say ,or else ! 照我的话去做，否则后果自负。

other

后既可接可数名词复数形式又可接不可数名词，如：可数，other pencils 其它的铅笔，other students其他的学生。不可数other tea 别的/其它的茶，other information 别的/其它消息。

other用法的注意事项：

1)泛指另一个用another。

2)一定范围内两人(物)，一个用one，另一个用the other。

3)一定范围内三者，一个用one，另一个用one (another)，第三个可用the other，a third。

4)一定范围内，除去一部分人/物，剩余的全部用the others。

5)泛指别的人或物时，用others；当在一定范围内，除去一部分后，剩余部分但不是全部时，也用others。

6）any of the other+可数名词复数。

巧记：other表其他，复数名词在后加。

the others其余的，剩下的，全包括。

the other另一个，总数是二莫搞错。

others另一些，不是全体剩几个。

anyone

1. 表示“某人”，常用于否定句、 疑问句及条件句 ，用以代替someone / somebody (常译为：什么人、谁)；表示“任何人”，可用于肯定句 (也可用于其它句型)：

Did anybody hear of such a thing?有谁听说过这样的事吗?

Don’t owe anybody a penny. 不要欠任何人一分钱。

I can do it if anybody can. 如果有谁能干这事，我也能。

Anyone can cook；it’s easy. 做饭谁都会，这很容易。

2. 用作主语，谓语动词用单数；若需用代词代替，可用单数 he, him, his (正式)或复数they, them, their (非正式)均可：

If anybody[anyone] comes, ask him [them] to wait. 要是有人来，让他等着。

3. 用于否定句时，要放在否定词之前，而不能放在否定词之后：

正：Nobody [No one] can do it. 这事谁也干不了。

误：Anybody [Anyone] cannot do it.

4. 受形容词修饰时，形容词应置于其后：

Have you seen anyone [anybody] famous? 你见过名人吗?

5. 请看两个句子：

(1) Jim’s taller than anybody [anyone] else in his family.

(2) Jim’s taller than anybody [anyone] in my family.

第一句在 anyone, anybody 之后用了else, 是因为 Jim 是 his family中的一员；第二句没用 else, 是因为 Jim 不是 my family 中的一员。

6. 只能指人，不能指物；且其后一般不接 of 短语。若是指物或后接of短语，可用any one (分开写)：

Any one of the plans will do. 这些计划中的任何一个都行。(www.yywords.com)

Any one of our employees could be the informer. 我们的任何一位雇员都有可能成为告密者。
