thankyou和thanks you有什么区别

区别是thank you是正确的表达，thanks you是错误的。如果thank后面加了s，那么就不能再加you了。thank you=thanks。

thank的用法：

1. 在现代英语中，thank用作名词表示“感谢”时，只用复数形式，不用单数形式。如：

Thanks for listening. 谢谢收听。

We expressed our thanks.我们表达了自己的谢意。

My wife also asks to join her greeting and thanks. 我妻子也要我顺致她的问候和感谢。

若要加语气，名词thanks有时可用many, a thousand等修饰。如：

A thousand thanks for your invitation. 非常感谢你的邀请。

Many thanks for your letter of 17 March. 非常感谢您3月17日的来信。

注：汉语中说“多谢”，英语可说成Thanks. / Many thanks. / Thanks a lot. / Thanks very much. 等。但是，根据英语习惯，我们可以说Thanks a lot，却不能说：Thank you a lot.

2. 比较以下thank用作动词的用法：

Each of them phoned to thank me. 他们每个人都打电话来向我道谢。

No more tea, thank you, I’ve had my fill. 谢谢你，不要再添茶了，我已经喝足了。

There’s no need to thank me—I was only doing my job. 不用谢——这是我应做的工作。

1、词性：

thank sb for doing sth后面跟名词，

thanks sb to do sth后面跟名词组

2、表达重点不同：

thank sb for doing sth是为了某事感谢某人，但是为了某个此人提供的东西而感谢。

thanks sb to do sth也是是为了某事感谢某人，但是为了感谢某人为你干的某事。

3、用法不同：

thank sb for doing sth动词后面如果可以接宾语就是及物动词；如果后面不可以接宾语就是不及物动词。

thanks sb to do sth在英语中绝大部分动词，既可以用做及物动词，也可以用做不及物动词，绝对及物或不及物的动词是很少的。

4、使用习惯不同：

①若要表示汉语的“感谢某人做某事”，英语习惯上用thank sb for doing sth，而不用thank sb to do sth。

如：

Thank you for taking the trouble to reply. 谢谢您给予回复。

Thank you for lending me your car last night. 谢谢你昨晚把车子借给我。

Thank you for calling. Goodbye. 谢谢你打电话来，再见。

②有时也可见到thank sb to do sth的用法，但该结构主要用于I will thank you to do sth这样的句式，用于加强请求或命令的语气，原本是为了使语气更客气，但现在常带有气愤或反感的意味，可译为“请”“请你”“我求你”。如：

I will thank you to shut the door. 劳驾把门关上。

I will thank you to mind your own business. 请你少管闲事。

5、使用频率不同：

在使用过程中,一般只说thank sb for doing sth较多。

thank sb to do sth使用较少。
