destiny 和fortune的区别

destiny是表示人的命运之类的，而fortune是表示运气好或者财富之类的。eg。

Yao is absent this season, but fortunately, houston rocktes win the 22 games in straight。

It was her destiny to become famous.

她命里注定出名。

doom 指“最终的、常常是毁灭性或灾难性的命运”, 如:

The Battle of Stalingrad sealed Hitler's doom.

斯大林格勒战役决定了希特勒的灭亡。

lot 更经常被使用在口语中，如：

My lot is a hard one.

我的命运坎坷。

cast (in) one's lot with [throw in one's lot with]

把自己的命运同...连在一起; 在生活[事业]上和...同甘共苦
