asksb to go and do sth为何最后的动词不用to do sth

英语中，当两个或两个以上作用相同的不定式并列时，为了避免重复，通常只在第一个不定式前用不定式符号to，其余不定式前的to可以省略。又如：

I told my younger brother to stay there and wait for me.

我叫我弟弟在那儿等我。

I'm wondering what to say or do.

ask for 就是ask sb for sth 向某人要某物，ask for 表示询问，有求于别人，客气的口吻。

ask to ,就是ask sb to do 让某人做某事，ask to ?有一种祈使的意思，略带一种命令的口吻。
