stone还可作“石料”解,是不可数名词。表示“一块石头”用a?stone或a piece of?stone都可以。

例句：The brick house was faced with stone.这座砖房石料贴面。

2、stove作名词时意思是“火炉；窑；温室”，作及物动词时意思是“用火炉烤”。
